The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to feature the world premiere of The Cross of Christ, a powerful oratorio composed by tenor Romulo Delgado, during The Music of EasterSaturday April 1 at the Living Arts Centre.

The Cross of Christ explores the salvific meaning of suffering, the richness of hope, the deepness of faith, and the everlasting love of God for humanity. Acclaimed for its cinematic qualities and its rich ethnic musical influences, The Cross of Christ provides sacred text, sublime magnitude, and impressive grandeur.

The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and a cast of stunning singers will perform the last movement of the oratorio titled, The Lord is our God. Patrons might recognize the cast from past MSO productions of Carmen, La Bohéme, and La Traviata.
