Paul Weston

Paul Weston has been a part of the MSO for over 20 years as a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, soloist and guest conductor. He was Board President from 2009-2014.

An alumnus of the Royal College of Music (London, UK), he spent 26 years as a Royal Marines musician and Director of Music, travelling to over 50 countries including four years on board the Royal Yacht BRITANNIA in support of the Royal family.

Since arriving in Canada in 2005, Paul has appeared with many ensembles across North America as an instrumentalist and conductor, including on Classical 96.3 FM and the CBC.

When he isn’t making music, Paul is an independent business owner and Key-Note Speaker. He is also an elite Age-Group Triathlete, representing Canada at numerous World Championships.

A successful author, his books ‘Running in the Rain’ and ‘Running Up Hills’ are both International #1 Best Sellers.

As a member of the neurodiverse community, Paul is an advocate for better acceptance of people living with Tourette Syndrome.
