Daniela Carreon Herrera, soprano

Daniela Carreon Herrera is a Mexican soprano who uses her voice to celebrate life and share the story of humanity. She was awarded third prize in the VII Linus Lerner International Voice Competition. Currently, Daniela is finishing an Artist Diploma in Voice at The Royal Conservatory. Daniela’s passion for opera and art song has brought her to perform recitals and operas around Europe, Mexico, Canada, and USA. Some of her title roles include Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Musetta (La Bohème), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel). In her spare time, Daniela enjoys FaceTime with family and friends, bike rides, high intensity strength training, reading, long walks, and connecting with people around the globe through social media.

Nicholas Kluftinger, tenor

Praised for his warm tone and versatility, Nicholas Kluftinger is a young Canadian tenor to watch for. Recent credits include participation in the 2025 Franz-Schubert-Institut (Austria), participation in the 2024 Ukrainian Art Song Project Summer Institute (Canada), and multiple operatic and recital appearances at the Glenn Gould School. These include Le Petit Vieillard (L’Enfant et les Sortilèges), Erster Geharnischtermann (Die Zauberflöte), and Gehrardo (Gianni Schicchi). 

Nicholas is also a finalist of the 2026 TCO Macina competition, and a recipient of the Jacqueline Desmarais Foundation and Thomas Logan Vocal Scholarships.

Tyler Prince, baritone

Tyler Prince is a baritone in his third year of the Bachelor of Music Program at The Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory, wherein he is the recipient of a full-tuition scholarship. He is an alumnus of the Canadian Children’s Opera Company and a graduate of the Phil & Eli Taylor Academy of the Royal Conservatory of Music. Tyler studies in the studios of Jason Howard and Jennifer Tung. Alongside his operatic endeavors, Tyler is a jazz saxophonist and clarinetist as well as a jazz, gospel, and blues pianist.

Recently, Tyler played saxophone and clarinet in the staged premiere of Dean Burry’s opera, Baby Kintyre. He is an alumnus of the Toronto All Star Big Band, which during his time in the band he held various chairs in the saxophone section and occasionally sang as well. Tyler has performed on prestigious stages such as, Koerner Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, Scotiabank Arena, The Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts and the Living Arts Centre. Off the stage, Tyler enjoys composing, arranging and most of all, collaborating with his fellow musicians.
