The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is honoured to receive support from The Hazel McCallion Foundation for the Arts, Culture & Heritage for its 2025–2026 season opening concert, The Pastoral Experience, taking place on October 18, 2025, at the Living Arts Centre. This generous contribution from the Foundation helps the MSO bring innovative, community-focused programming to life—continuing Hazel McCallion’s enduring legacy of championing arts, culture, and heritage across Mississauga. The Foundation’s commitment has enabled countless cultural initiatives citywide, from public art and heritage exhibitions to museum acquisitions and preservation projects, enriching Mississauga’s civic identity and creative spirit.

Created in partnership with The Riverwood ConservancyThe Pastoral Experience invites audiences to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Mississauga through a captivating blend of sight and sound. High-resolution visuals of Riverwood’s woodlands, wetlands, and gardens will be projected in harmony with Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony. In alignment with Mississauga’s Vital Signs priorities, the MSO will also provide 50 complimentary tickets to community members through local partners, ensuring that the power of live orchestral music is accessible to all. Through the support of the Hazel McCallion Foundation, the MSO continues to advance inclusion, creativity, and cultural vitality in the heart of Mississauga.
