2019/20 Season Cancelled

April 9, 2020

It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the remainder of our 2019/20 concert season.

In an effort to further reduce the spread of COVID-19, the City of Mississauga has announced the cancellation of all events taking place within city-operated facilities, including the Living Arts Centre, up to July 3, 2020. The extended closure impacts our ability to produce the high quality concerts our patrons have come to expect. While the cancellation is disappointing, we fully support the City of Mississauga in their efforts to “flatten the curve”.

There are three concerts that will be affected by the cancellation of our season. They are:

MSYOThe Music of Books – May 10, 2020

MSO: Orchestral Fireworks – May 30, 2020

MSO: Star Wars – July 18, 2020

If you have purchased tickets to any of these concerts, there are two options:
1. Donation

A significant portion of our revenue is generated from ticket sales. Healthy ticket sales allow us to remain active in Mississauga, providing high quality symphonic experiences for our community. Donations from our patrons help to soften the devastating impact of COVID-19 on our organization. If you choose to donate the value of your tickets, a tax receipt for the full amount will be issued. To donate, please contact our office at:, or: 905-615-4405.

2. Full Refund
We understand that COVID-19 has created difficult times for all of us. If you are unable to donate the value of your tickets, we will provide a full refund within 5-8 business days of receiving your request. To receive a refund, please contact the Living Arts Centre box office at: Your refund request will need to contain your contact information, method of payment, and order details.

We appreciate your patience and value your support as we navigate through these extraordinary times. If you have questions or concerns, please let us know at:, or: 905-615-4405.
