Amica Champions the Arts with Sponsorship of MSO’s Art of the Mediterranean and A Merry Little Christmas Matinee

Mississauga, ON — The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is pleased to announce Amica Senior Lifestyles as the platinum concert sponsor for both The Art of the Mediterranean, taking place Sunday, Nov. 22 at 3PM and A Merry Little Christmas matinée on Saturday Dec. 12 at 4PM.

Amica’s sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to supporting arts and culture within the community. Through this sponsorship, Amica is helping the MSO continue presenting high-quality symphonic programming while creating more opportunities for Amica residents to enjoy live orchestral music in their community.

“Amica believes that orchestral music isn’t just a luxury, but a lifeline.” says Daniel Lewis, Senior Manager at Amica Senior Lifestyles. “Sponsoring these performances brings joy, memories, and connection to our residents and we are deeply committed to ensuring that the transformative power of a live symphony remains a cherished part of life here in Mississauga and beyond.”

From the solo classical guitar to sweeping orchestral textures and vivid harmonies, The Art of the Mediterranean will feature guest artist Daniel Bolshoy in Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez alongside Debussy’s evocative La Mer. A few weeks later, A Merry Little Christmas will regale Mississaugans with a joyful concert featuring musicians from both the Mississauga Symphony and the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra.

“We are delighted to have Amica as a platinum partner,” said Claudine LaRochelle, Executive Director of Orchestras Mississauga. “Their support helps us bring internationally renowned artists to our city, and brings people together across generations, both in the hall and out in our community.”
