John Barnum Service Award: Congratulations Elizabeth Rutter!

March 25, 2019

In order to celebrate 34 years of service as former Music Director and Conductor of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra, an award in honour of John Barnum has been created.

The John Barnum Service Award is presented annually to an individual in recognition of the outstanding service they have dedicated to the organization, either over the past year, or in previous years. This year's award was presented to Elizabeth Rutter.

Elizabeth is in her 40th consecutive year as a member of the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra playing flue and piccolo in the woodwind section. Elizabeth served on the Board of Directors for many years and continues to volunteer her time in an unofficial capacity. Congratulations, Elizabeth!
