2018/19 Concert Season - ON SALE NOW

September 5, 2018

We are thrilled to present the 2018/19 season for both the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra. Our upcoming concert season continues to present traditional symphonic music with a variety of programming for all musical tastes.

Join us for our Masterworks series of concerts that feature the heart of orchestral music repertoire as we pay homage to the great composers, including Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Smetana and Mahler. We are pleased to present an array of guest artists including Romulo Delgado, Misha Rohac, and Yu Kai Sun, the winner of the MSO Youth Concerto Competition. Our season finale on May 25 is a must attend, as we feature the wonderful Toronto Mendelssohn Choir in Mahler's magnificent Symphony No. 2, the Resurrection Symphony.

Following our successful inaugural venture into opera with our 2017 production of Bizet's Carmen, we are excited to bring opera back to the stage. On February 7 and 9 we present Puccini's masterpiece, La Boheme. This tale of love and tragedy has touched audiences the world over. Join us and experience the power of opera.

On April 27, we present On Broadway, an entertaining performance featuring the MSO and voices in your favourite Broadway hits. Join us in the atrium prior to the concert for a thrilling evening of casino games, delectable dinner stations and a silent auction with great prizes, all in support of the orchestra!

This holiday season, we are delighted to welcome back the Mississauga Festival Chamber Choir for what has become our annual presentation of Highlights from Messiah. If you prefer a more family oriented program, A Merry Little Christmas brings together the MSO, MSYO and special guests, Resonance Youth Choir, in a program that will bring out the holiday spirit in everyone.

Regular ticket prices start at $40. Special pricing is available for seniors, families, and patrons under 26. Complimentary underground parking is included with every ticket purchase. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Living Arts Centre at: 905-306-6000, or by visiting them online here.
