A dynamic performer, comfortable with repertoire spanning a wide variety of musical genres, cellist Mary-Katherine Finch has appeared with numerous ensembles including the Orchestra of the National Ballet of CanadaEsprit Orchestra, and Hamilton Philharmonic. Mary-Katherine is the principall cellist of the Mississauga Symphony, and has served as guest principal cellist with the Hamilton PhilharmonicWindsor Symphony, and Niagara Symphony. MK is a lover of chamber music who regularly performs on various chamber music concert series in Ontario. She is a member of Contact and the Elmwood Trio. Teaching cello is a passion of MK’s that has proved to be tremendously rewarding. She maintains a busy private studio and is a cello instructor at the University of TorontoClaude Watson School for the Arts, and Upper Beaches Music School.
