President's message

In the age of ’instant access’ to almost anything, we rarely have the time or patience to stop and enjoy the finer things in life. Music is available at the click of a mouse, or the press of a button, and yet the real enjoyment of this wonderful art form is the experience of the live performance. The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra has been entertaining the people of this city since 1972. We are a group of community musicians who share our love of music, through our annual season of concerts, with the general public. Professionally led, we believe the standard we achieve matches any other community orchestra in the country.

Our programs feature world-class soloists, in a fantastic venue, with competitive ticket pricing and free underground parking.

Whether you are interested in playing with us, would like to see us perform for the first time, or are a regular subscriber, we welcome you into our family, and hope you will join us to help keep music live.
